NZGLS metadata standard - Working Group
Working Group
The New Zealand Government Locator Service (NZGLS) Working Group provides expert support and advice to Archives New Zealand as Custodian of the Standard to ensure the Standard:
- meets the real-life requirements of the New Zealand Government Portal users and metadata creators, and
- stays compatible with related metadata standards such as the Dublin Core Metadata Element Set and AGLS.
The Group is chaired by Archives New Zealand, and includes a representative of the State Services Commission as Steward of the Standard.
Members of the Group take a whole-of-government approach to issues, rather than acting as agency representatives or advocates. The membership is intended to give a wide range of experience and perspectives, and additional input may be required on specific matters.
The Working Group meets at least six-monthly.
